Industrial Funk places itself on the crossroads of different musical worlds by fusing the most upfront underground having-it dance styles of this day: electro, breaks, grime, techno and industrial funk and staging the most state-of-the-art artists from all over.
What makes the events trully special is the fusion of different styles. Industrial Funk does not believe in single unique styles. The musicians and DJ's all share a common and constant drive to create new sounds, to push the boundaries without losing sight of the dancefloor for a second, producing super dancey, funky experimental music.. !
Our very own visual artists also ensure that our annual event is a true visual spectacle by creating amazing video installations, light objects and other art pieces.
Industrial Funk's annual festival at the Paard van Troje in Den Haag, Holland had 2 trully succesful editions in 2004 and 2005. This year Industrial Funk, besides the annual festival in May 2006, also has a series of 4 smaller events called MINI I-FUNK, so be ready for the upcoming edition!
The MINI I-FUNK series are a series of smaller events which highlight a particular aspect of music. The first one, taking place at the end of March, looks at live Drum 'n Bass.

24 February 06 - 22:11MINI I-FUNK 1: Friday 31 March 2006: LIVE 'n LOUD!
Finally the moment has arrived!
Industrial Funk is proud to present those men in hoods on their first stage appearance in the Netherlands: the
Deadsilence Syndicate Band from London!
This 6-piece up-and-coming Drum 'n Bass band with MC, electric drums and percussion, midi bass, synths (by electro DJ and producer Dexorcist) and electric chello has already been compared to The Prodigy Sound System in their heyday, but the DSS band does it all live, no sequencing, no drumtracks or any pre-recording... MC Krude’s fast cockney rap has been likened to a mix between The Streets and Johnny Rotten. Getting curious..?
Also for your entertainment:
Dexorcist the DJ himself, mixing it up just for you, serving a fine blend of the dark electronic beat..
Kenshiro, direct from Germany, a 5-piece live Drum 'n Bass act...
2Times, young loud and full of it... Dutch live Drum 'n Bass specialists...
Siuli K.O. our very own governor giving it large on the decks London style...
MISS THIS AND MISS OUT!
THIS IS WHERE IT ALL BEGINS>>>> 2006>>>>

Industrial Funk got invited by the State-X New Forms Festival to give an Oriental flavour to the evening. Taking over the Prinsegracht 8 location we gave them sum Asian spice breaking it up with fat deep beats of the electronic kind! We invited Sintok from Belgium to join forces with our very own Siuli K.O. and Val Keerie. Asian girls on top!

It was the first seriously hot summer's night in the summer of 2005, Industrial Funk linked up with our allies from 010 Electronics to throw a wicked night on board German party ship Stubnitz... Seriously rocking the boat in Rotterdam's industrial Maashavens. Perfect setting for a perfect party!
