Artist Biography
Undercover operator, twilight investigator and alien detection officer Miss Louzy has been shape shifting around the decks since the late nineties. After searching the audio waves for a fresher sound than the four to the floor distorted hardcore beats that had been surrounding her she sonically fused together a DJ style combining house, hiphop, electro and electro pop.
there can be little interest in knowing what's coming next.....if we always knew what's coming next we would be like machines.Besides shapeshifting and beatmixing Miss Louzy works as an illustrator and graphic designer. She works under the name 'Flying Colours' from which she is creating and manufacturing her own work. In 2005 Miss Louzy made her debut into the world of record labels, releasing Rotterdam based electro artists 'Pussycat' on her own Elektrobot label.
Louzy continues forwards into the unknown territories of the far reaching galaxies, searching out alien forms, new artistic ways and lighting up dance floors..........

A few months ago i read the dutch comic magazine Zone 5300. And there was an article about The Knife in it.They where discribed as an electro band with an occult twist, reason for my to look it up on the internet. As time passed i got more into all of their stuff.

Around the time i hooked up with the TdK system i started my study at the graphic school in Rotterdam.I painted several backdrops for the TdK parties. This is where my passion for designing and painting took shape.
In 2003 I graduated from the graphic school and in 2009 I graduated from the Willem de Kooning Art Academy in Rotterdam where i studied Illustration.
Now in work as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, under the name ‘Flying Colours’.

It's february 2002 when i throw my first Elektrobot party. This comes from the desire to do an underground party with just electro music instead of tekno music. I did the party in a squat in Den Haag just behind Holland Spoor. It's march 2005 when the first Elektrobot record is released. Elektrobot is a platform for young talent in music and arts. Just recently in february 2006, i did an Elektrobot cafe night at the Worm in Rotterdam. Elektrobot is still young but full of motivation and creativity.
