Artist Biography
MarCO2 is from the Southern Higher grounds of Holland, somewhere in the mist of the Brabant area of the Netherlands. He has been an active member of the Dutch Scene since the late eighties and has travelled through the musical styles from genre to genre following the beats that have interested him over the years.
Marco has twisted and turned on his musical quests across the many dance floors from Industrial to Garage to Jungle until reaching the dance floors of the Dutch Underground parties.
What Style do I play?
A genre-free mix of beats & beyond, acid for the head and free bass for the stomach
It was at that time Sonic Traveller DJ and Light Fantastic MarCO2 spent much time with Dutch sound systems X-Lag and WirWar before joining the off-beat leftfield Noiz'R'uS Soundsystem in the late 90's. From then on it was the Rotterdam techno city of sound and light where he drew much inspiration from his new sonic brothers and sisters from all over to continue his sonic and visual journey.
Apart from many years behind the wheels of steel, he is currently working as a theater and interior designer as well as light alchemist and coordinator of the independent bedroomlabel Team Wasted.
MarCO2 is Nocturnal State's very own Mr.Light Fantastic, the force behind the colours, visual surreality and optical strangeness of the Industrial Funk parties.

6 down 7 up!Met deze naam gaan we het nieuwe jaar inluiden in de Boulevard te Breda. Maar liefst 17 DJ’s en 2 bands zullen optreden verspreid over 3 area’s!
Vanaf 22.00 uur kun je in het cafe terecht om het afgelopen jaar nog eens door te nemen. Om 0.00 uur is er natuurlijk vuurwerk en champagne. Daarna zullen ook de theaterzaal en het restaurant open gaan. In de zaal zullen de Exploding Shetland Ponies en Electric Moon het nieuwe jaar knallend inluiden met een live optreden om daarna plek te bieden aan DJ’s Edward James, Artek & Y? en Snob!
Terwijl het restaurant het domein is voor de betere alternatieve dance als electro, techno, minimal, dubstep en breaks verzorgd door DJ’s Mo Franco, Freak, CO2RO, HerrFer en Zaxxon.
De zeer diverse DJ’s in het cafe zullen er voor zorgen dat je je ook beneden geen moment zult vervelen. Varierend van 80’s tot reggae en van hiphop tot rockhits zal het cafe de plek zijn met een zeer brede muzikale invalshoek.
Kaarten a E10,- zijn te koop bij Tunes Ville (Haagdijk 15), Bonk (Veemarktstraat) en de Boulevard (St. Janstraat 3A)
